Godin guitars are unique because from forest to stage, they are North American. The necks and bodies are all made in the original location in La Patrie, Quebec. Godin Guitars are then assembled in Quebec factories.
Our Story
Robert Godin began building guitars in a small rural Quebec village, following his passion for music and craftsmanship. His determination, care, ingenuity, and dedication to craftsmanship led to the creation of Godin Guitars, now one of North America's leading guitar manufacturers. Godin Guitars offers musicians around the world unique and diverse instruments that meet their needs and expectations. You'll see for yourself when you play the first notes!
Fifty years after the creation of Godin Guitars, the same passion still drives the new generation through Simon and Patrick, Robert's two sons. Today, our guitars continue to evolve and make their mark on the industry with their modern, refined design, highlighting the handiwork of the company's craftsmen.
There are five brands in the Godin family: Seagull, Simon & Patrick, Norman, Art & Lutherie and Godin. The company is also the manufacturer of the revolutionary TRIC guitar cases, which offer an unparalleled level of protection.
Our Goal
We strive to honour the finest traditions of guitar making, while continually refining our products through innovative design. Our goal is to always provide superior guitars that allow any musician to learn, develop, and most importantly, enjoy their musical abilities. Whether you are simply strumming on your balcony or playing to a full house, our guitars will provide a rich, resonant sound unmatched in any setting.
