"When Pro Shop Unique guitars became available, I just had to have that V120 Gun Hill Blue on Red with the Wilkinson P90 on it! I immediately took it with me to my next gig, where it got a lot of attention. One guy even asked me if it was the first/oldest guitar I had ever bought! As I started getting into the VS6 line, I decided to order a VS63V in Gun Hill Blue (not normally available in that color) with a couple of simple mods on it: Kluson locking tuners and coil splitting on the middle humbucker. Also with a light relic touch to the finish. The Pro Shop team did an amazing job, and this guitar has become one of my prize possessions within my (not so small :-)) guitar collection. Not only is it perfectly built and set up, it gives me a vast range of tonal possibilities- in addition to being a beautiful instrument and a real head-turner too!

I reached out to the guys at the pro shop as we had an upcoming O2 tour and we were updating our show. As a tribute band, we always try to be as authentic as possible and there was a very specific look I was trying to create. I also had an extra requirement to make a very special kind of workhorse guitar. It needed to be a beast; I wanted a big tone. I also wanted it to play well. Moreover, I needed it to be super reliable. As such, when the Antarctic Monkeys just took a tour of Australia, I knew there was only one guitar I wanted and needed. I could get off a plane and have no doubts if would still be perfectly ready to go! The subtle larger cutaway is barely noticeable. The action is amazing. The inclusion of a Bigsby to this guitar adds to the versatility. To say I am happy with this guitar is an understatement. It has changed the way I play and think of my workhorse. I wouldn't be without it!
