The U35C system supplies 48V or 12V of phantom power to any connected condenser microphone or active DI box. The Receiver features a protection circuit that blocks phantom power from the mixer or interface if it’s accidentally turned on.

U35C boasts an exceptionally reliable wireless connection over a range of up to 100 feet/30.5 m, thanks to a few key features. Firstly, the 5.8 GHz band is less crowded than 2.4 GHz, so it’s less likely to encounter signal interference. Second, it’s a True Diversity system, meaning that the Receiver includes not one but two antennas. When connecting to the Transmitter, the Receiver scans the available six wireless channels and automatically selects the strongest, most stable one. One Transmitter can connect to two or more Receivers, and up to six U35C sets can be used in one area.

Like the other systems in Xvive’s wireless family, U35C features crystal-clear 24-bit / 48 kHz audio, imperceptable 5 ms latency, wide 20 Hz - 20 kHz frequency response, 110 dB dynamic range and 110 dB signal-to-noise ratio. U35C offers between 3 and 7 hours of battery life (depending on the microphone’s phantom power current draw) and takes 2.5 hours to charge via any 5V/2A USB power source.

Although dynamic microphones tend to be more commonly used by live singers, condenser microphones are the perfect choice in many applications. They offer greater sensitivity and a wider frequency response, resulting in more clarity and detail — especially useful for subtle or nuanced singing styles. They capture fast vocal changes more accurately and bring out breathiness and "air" in a singer’s voice that dynamic mics might miss. Condensers are especially useful for lower-volume singers or quieter stages — common with in-ear monitors—where gain-before-feedback isn't as much of an issue.

The U35C Microphone Wireless System is now the perfect solution for singers and speakers who prefer condenser microphones and wish to be free to move around onstage!
