Since the first two XLR/TRS combi inputs fitted on the Zoom L-8 are Hi-Z inputs, electric guitars or basses can be jacked in with no problem. Each of the six inputs is supported by crystal clear preamplification, detailed tone controls and phantom power. Despite the slim dimensions, the LiveTrak L-8 is a fully-grown mixer and comes with a built-in recorder that can handle up to 12 channels. If you prefer to use a computer and DAW, this extensive device can also be used as an audio interface.

Podcasters Take Note!
Inputs 7 and 8 not only offer balanced line inputs but can also be used to connect a phone. Your own voice is automatically filtered out of the signal, avoiding any feedback and making the L-8 a fully-fledged podcasting mixer. Six assignable sound pads are included for triggering any jingles, sound-effects and adverts, adding a professional edge to any podcast. While a generous handful of sounds comes preloaded, bespoke samples can be loaded in via SD card.
